<\/a>\r\n\r\nThe Seychelles Maritime Academy (SMA) proudly celebrated the graduation of 104 students in a prestigious ceremony held at the International Conference Centre Seychelles (ICCS). The event marked a key milestone in the country\u2019s maritime education, reinforcing its commitment to building a skilled workforce for the blue economy.\r\n\r\nUnder the presence of President Wavel Ramkalawan and the Minister for Fisheries and the Blue Economy Mr. Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Ferrari, amongst other high level officials of the Seychelles Government, SMA graduates received certificates with special honours awarded to those who demonstrated exceptional performance and resilience. The ceremony also introduced new accolades such as the Heart and Hustle Award and the Ministry of Fisheries and Blue Economy Award, broadening the scope of recognition for student achievements.\r\n\r\nPEVASA was honoured to sponsor this important event, reaffirming our commitment to talent development and international collaboration in maritime training. Our presence reflects PEVASA\u2019s interest in supporting students to build a professional future at sea.\r\n\r\nOur country Manager Mr Nichol Elizabeth also attended the event and expressed our recognition to all SMA staff, headed by its director, Captain Mahesa Abeynayake in their role to prepare and teach this group of youngsters\r\n\r\nWe extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2025 and look forward to exploring future opportunities with the next generation of maritime professionals.\r\n\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/www.pevasa.es\/assets\/media\/FOTO-11.jpg\")
